Community Education will be able to purchase 30 pair of snowshoes to be used for classes and community events.

Community Education will get modern snowshoes that are smaller and easier to put on than the type of snowshoe seen in the picture below. Snowshoes allow people to hike and walk in parks and other hiking areas normally inaccessible because of snow and ice.

They provide an excellent way for people stay in shape during long winter months. Consider taking up snowshoeing this winter!
