Garden Initiative Leader, Jennifer Davis

The Parks & Recreation Department has rented out all 116 garden plots at both the Brookside and the Spark Avenue sites. Gardeners have already been preparing and planting their gardens. A children’s gardening program at Halverson School has also been created through SHIP. This particular garden is run through the School and not Parks & Rec. The Children’s Garden will have various youth groups utilizing the area, including The Children’s Center, 4-H, and others.
