• Albert Lea Area Schools will be initiating a Healthy Snack program at the four elementary schools.

• Halversen Elementary is creating a Community Garden on campus for students and families.

• Our Food Service program is exploring ways we can partner with area farmers to get local produce in our school food program.

• Walking School Buses are still being encouraged throughout our community.
